Jessica Almasy is a writer and an actress. She grew up in New Jersey and is a graduate of NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts, and Co-Artistic Director of the TEAM.

A founding member of the TEAM, her devised work has appeared at the BAC (London), the Arches (Glasgow), the Traverse Theatre (Edinburgh), the Ohio and PS122 (NYC). Notable roles include Hamlet, Richard Nixon, an amnesiac plane crash survivor, and 50 minutes of a woman named Alice – on a treadmill, running.

She is a member of the wook taut majesty, a writing performance group. Jessica’s new play, tiger tiger (on the nature of violence), premieres in NOV 2015 at Dixon Place. BFA NYU, MFA Brooklyn College.
